Donghai Marine Cultural City

1.Background and Construction Condition
Modern Tourism upholds an ecological leisure tourism characterized by developing the sensibility consumption-oriented marine culture in sea islands. To build Donghai marine culture new city near Dinghai new city—Lincheng, in order to stress the features of Zhoushan sea islands and to attract tourists from both the urban area and the neighboring cities based on the perfect urban function. The development of this project will witness a good prospect.

The preliminary of the project has been done and start to operation. The total investment : RMB 1 million .

3.Construction Scale and Content
It is located in Zhoushan new city—Lincheng. The whole project concludes the Marine culture ground of 650 mu to the south of the national highway and the east of the Century Road, Snake island of 90 mu, outer Changzhi island of 1500 mu and part of the marine ocean surface & mud flat. Project content : Marine culture ground, sightseeing coastline, ocean tourism project, ocean entertainment, performance, significant view, museum library and so on. It is the governmental key implementation project in the “Tenth-Five” issue of Zhoushan. Now it has set up Zhoushan Tourism Development CO.LTD to be responsible for the planning & development construction, entrusted Zhoushan Tourism Bureau to manage it. The company is planned to build up in 3-5 years with the policy of “once planning, step by step Implement, government guidance, market operation”. Total investment: RMB1 billion , the pre-investment: RMB 200 million.

ZhouShan China Island Custom Culture Village

1.Background and Construction Condition
It is located in Zhoushan Zhujiajian island, close to Zhujiajian great bridge, facing MOUNT PUTUOain in the east, watching Shenjiamen---the biggest fish harbor, across the sea, adjoining Putuo airport and Zhujiajian state-level scenic spot in the south. The traffic is convenient. MOUNT PUTUO –Zhujiajian---Shenjiamen is a golden triangle for tourist, the annual number of travelers is over 3 million.
The project is the most typical and largest leading items of Zhoushan and has been listed by government as one of the key projects of “fifteen-year” plan. It is applied for the Zhejiang province development subsidy. The registered capital of Zhoushan Golden Coastline Tourism Development Co.,Ltd is RMB 3.6 million,10 hectare land usufruct has acquired.

2.Construction Scale and Content
“Culture village” is an incorporated tourism project with performance, display, recreation, entertainment, dieting and shopping. Total investment: US$ 9million Total land area :26.7 hectare, 10 hectare of which has been used in the first phase. The payback period of investment is 4—5 years

East Sea Military Experience Tourism

1. Construction Background and Advantages
Base on the longstanding Dinghai historical culture, it is the integrated item showing the dinghai history , military relics, featured by military experience and army leisure. It is located at East sea, neighboring Dinghai Port, connecting relic park of Opium War to its west. It takes about 10 minutes to arrive. It not only has the superior location, convenient transportation, but also has the good environment, deepwater harbor, suitable for developing the military experience tourism. Now, there is few integrated military tourism areas in Yangtze Delta and in China , so the developing prospect is quite bright.

2. Construction Scale and Contents
The area is about 30 hectares. The main contents of war recalling with emotion are : sea battle area , land battle area, military weapon museum, folk exhibition, Opium War martyrs hall, Opium war big event monument and humiliated street and so on. The main contents of military experience tourism are: emotive war movie watching area, war experience area, military summer camping and water battlefield and so on. The total investment is 0.15billion RMB, 40million RMB will be put into the first period.If the first period is finished, the estimated travelers received annually will be more than 50000, increased by 15%.

Dinghai Ancient City Defense Frontier Tourism Area

1. Construction Background and Advantages
This project takes the Opium War for background, and is combined and coordinated into a completed big project, regarding Dinghai ancient city streets, old buildings , war relic sights, south islands and east sea farm as the main carrier. It focuses the Dinghai seashore belts,radiating to the south islands and east sea farm. This tourism area is endowed with rich historical culture and war culture details, having all kinds of characteristic areas as Dinghai ancient city and Opium War battleground. The environment is maintained in good order , the natural sightseeing is very beautiful, especially the south islands meandering on the sea, like Qiandao Lake. Approaching the island-connecting bridge , the traffic is very convenient. This project is listed on the Zhoushan ten biggest perfect tourism projects by municipal government , and has a bright developing future.

It is planned to repair the ancient city street, the old buildings and old civil residences, develop the Qiandao traveling on sea, the war visiting and leisure experience, as well as the war experience area and peaceful living area, biology leisure area on east sea farm. Leisure Tourist Zone of Birds-Island
in the East China Sea,Dinghai

1.Background and superior conditions of the project:
The Birds-Island is the only provincial marine and bird nature reservation in the East Sea, covering the total area of 15 hectare. There are as many as 43 kinds of birds, like white aigret , black tail pigeon, snipe, hoopoe, kingfisher, wide goose and widgeon, and so on, ten thousand of these birds are available all year round. It offers marvelous natural phenomenons, including the birds flying and dancing upon the sea, meeting blue sky.

2.Contents of the project:
The project is located at the west part of Zhoushan main island, beside outer edge of the Hangzhou Bay. The tourist zone includes Wuzhishan Islands, Ma-mu farm and Xijiazui Beach Land, covering an area of 300 mu . According to the municipal tourist planning and the market trends, it is scheduled to construct into a ecology leisure tourist zone bearing the East-sea ocean culture features. It can be divided into four items, the sea entertainment, the west port beach, the coastal leisure and the agriculture sightseeing. It is estimated that the travelers reception amount will be 50,000 person-time in 2 years, and within 5 years will be 100,000 person-time, within 10 years will reach 200,000 person-time.

Ms.San-mao Cultural Tourism

1.Construction Background and Advantages
Ms.San-mao Ancestor House was built by her grandfather Mr. Chen Zong-xu during Minguo years, located at Chenjia villa in Xiaosha Town, Ms. San-mao came back home and worshipped her ancestors in April 1998. The original name of Ms.San-mao is Chen Mao-ping, she has visited 59 countries and delivered 23 writings. The works penetrated with her deep affections like The Story of Desert Shahala have been translated into 15 languages, and are very popular in the world. Now, Ms.San-mao Ancestor House is kept in its original order with 5 front rooms and northern rooms , some necessary articles she used, some handicrafts she loved and some books and pictures. It is 15 km away from Dinghai city, the traffic is convenient. Now, it welcomes 30,000 travelers every year, and the number will rise to more than 100,000 in 2010.

The construction area is 20 hectares. The contents attended to develop are 1) the visiting area mainly showing the growing course and life’s achievement 2) Taiwan Interesting Amorous Street according to the buildings in Taiwan where Ms.San-mao lived 3) Cultural Leisure Area according to the sceneries describe in her novels and countries she lived. The total investment is 10 million RMB.

Dinghai Dongju Island Sightseeing Tourism

1.Construction Background and Advantage
It is the important component of the thousand- island traveling in the ancient city fort tourism program, situated at the beautiful Dongju Island in south of Dinghai Island. The altitude is 205m, the area is 3.42 km2. At the top mountain, all the south islands can be seen clearly, there more than 50 islands winding on the sea like Qiandao lake on the sea. It is near to Dinghai city, the traffic is convenient, the resources are unique.

2.Construction Scale and Content
It is planned to develop by separated spaces according to mountaintop, mountainside and the foot mountain. The Bei-ao developing content includes seaside family, Fo-lan farmer, Dinghai Shenzhen and mountaintop sightseeing and so on. Dong-ao is sea view holiday villa and Xi-ao is military experience tourism. The total investment is 0.2billion RMB.

Dinghai Zairuo Mount Volcano Island Holiday Tourism

1.Construction Background and Advantage
Zairuo Mount is located at southwest Zhoushan, 8000 m away from Dinghai port, the island area is 2.7 km2, the mountain depth is 215 m. It is the typical volcano island , the mount appearance looks like a running elephant, so it was called Elephant Island. There are plenty of plants, steep landforms, natural carved rocks like elephant rock, lion rock, tiger rock, fairy lady mount, and the natural views of volcano rocks. Besides, there is the fast motorboat storehouse built by Japanese soldiers invading China, used to be the stage of Opium War.

The contents planned to be developed are 1) the volcano relic culture tourism base on volcano group 2)sea view holiday villa 3) Quanyu Villa leisure tourism. ZhouShan Dinghai Thousand Islands Tourism

1.Construction Background and Advantage
There are more than 50 small and big islands in south Dinghai. The environment is quite good, the natural resources are rich and colorful, the human resources are various. It is quite peaceful and cheerful, like miniascape on the sea dotted with beach sands and reeks. The location is quite advantageous, the water-land traffic is quite advanced and the infrastructures are completed. There are many big and small docks, suitable for traveling and sightseeing on traveling boats.

The main activities are looking around the islands and military historical issues and enjoying the special entertainment. Thus, the functions of leisure sightseeing holiday, achieving ocean cultural knowledge, catching the island military history and environment protection are taking shape. Traveling boats are made base on the mould of modern and ancient large-sized mast vessels into a big traveling boat group, totally constructing the gaily-painted pleasure-boats with “happy fisherman” type and rebuilding the current fishing boats. Dapeng Island is located at the northwest part of Jintang Town, neighboring the Island Continent Connecting (Jin Tang) Bridge, the land area is 3.52 km2. There are lots of ancient residential buildings left, forming the building groups of Ming & Qing Dynasty , which is seldom seen in sea island. Zhujiajian Dongsha Five-Star Hotel

1. Construction Background and Conditions
Zhujiajian island , the national important scenic spot, well known as the sand sculpture hometown, the holiday paradise , is located at the southeast part of Zhoushan Island, having the total area of 72 KM2. The sea, continent and air traffic system on the island is very consummated. The sea-connecting bridge of 2706 meter long has jointed Zhujiajian with the Shenjiamen (Zhoushan Main Island). The 4D-level Zhoushan Civil Aviation, Putuoshan Airport, built on the northweat of Zhujiajian , has available to more than 10 lines, like Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Jinan, Wuhan , Shantou, and so on . Taohua Island Seashore Holiday Villa

1. Construction Background and Advantages

1.Background And Construction Conditions:
The Five-Star Seaman’s Club, as part of the development program in northeast Qushan Town, is a high-grade entertainment place offering lodgings and recreations. The chosen site is in the northeast of Qushan Island, which will become the anchorage of Yangshan Port—Shanghai International Shipping Center, where seamen and other staff will have a short stay during a long voyage. 1. Background and Superiorities
Zhoushan Typhoon Fairyland is located at the south of Yangtze River, belonging to Daishan County, the mid of Zhoushan Island alongside the Hangzhou Bay margin , facing the West Pacific developed economic belt.
