Harbor Logistics: Zhoushan has been listed on 100million tonnage harbor,ranked No.9 biggest harbor among Chinese coastal harbors. Now, there are more than 400 berths,including 15 berths over 10000 tonnage. Sinochem Ao'shan base,the biggest commercial petroleum transit base in China,possesses 1 oil transit dock of 250,000 tonnage , Sinochem Cezi crude oil transit base with a 300,000 tonnage oil transit dock is the biggest crude oil dock in China,Baosteel Majishan ore sand transit base has a 250,000 tonnage (also for 300,000 tonnage) ore sand transhipment. The first period project of Yanshan deepwater harbor Shanghai international shipping center(Zhoushan) has been officially started. Ao'shan national stratagic storage oil base, Jintang Dapukou container harbor area, the second period project Baosteel Majishan and Zhonghaiyou Zhoushan logistics base are under construction. There are totally more than 130 shipping enterprises in Zhoushan,forming the combined transportation capacity of more than 2 million ton,the coastal transportation capacity is No.1 in Zhejiang.

Shipping Industry: The shipping industry in Zhoushan is started much earlier,thus,a consummate shipping industry system of ship design,production,repair and disassembling has already formed.Now,there are more than 150 shipping enterprises in Zhoushan, covering nearly 30% of the whole shipping enterprises in Zhejiang.There are more than 100 all kinds of docks, more than 100 slipways,including 10 docks of 10000 tonnage,available for building 80,000 tonnage ships and repairing 300,000 tonnage ships.The annual ship building capacity is above 1.2 million ton. A lots of famous shipping enterprises have invested in Zhoushan,such as COSCO,Chinese Heavy Ship Industry,IMC Group, TSUNEISHI Group, Singapore Pacific Shipping Company and so on. Zhoushan IMC Yongyue Group owns the biggest dry dock of 300,000 tonnage among all the civil operating enterprises and COSCO Liuheng base is building a biggest dry dock in China.

Aquatic Product Processing: Aquatic product processing industry is the traditional,advantageous and perfectly developed industry in Zhoushan.There are totally more than 700 aquatic product processing enterprises in Zhoushan,having more than 400 all kinds of refrigeratories with refrigeration capacity of 120,000 ton, and more than 200 all kinds of modern processing lines with the annual processing capacity of more than 600,000 ton. The annual aquatic production value is more than 15 billion Yuan,the products are exported to more than 50 countries and areas like Japan,Korea, UN,EU and southeast Asia and so on.

Marine Tourism Industry: The tourism in Zhoushan is highlighted on "the Land of Buddhism on the Sea, Ocean Culture, Seafood Cates, Seashore Leisure ". There are many entertainment functions ,such as Buddhism worship, sea & mountain sightseeing, food, shopping, travelling & play, holiday, seashore sporting, recreation & relaxation, which are mixed and presented into one body.Every year, more than 10million tourists from home and abroad are attracted to Zhoushan, and the number is increased at a rate of above 15% year by year.The annual tourism income is more than 7 billion Yuan. The marine tourism has been the supporting industry of Zhoushan. The blue sky, green sea, green islands, golden sand and silver waves have endowed Zhoushan infinite vitality and beautiful perspective.
